A Letter To My Fellow Underlived Men,

As we get to the middle of our lives, we start to take stock of how we’ve lived.  My guess is that many of us would say we did pretty well, but we wished we had done more, wished we had accomplished more.  There are multiple reasons for that and there may be a solution to living a life without regret.  Take minute and read through this page.  See if it resonates with you and if you think it might be something that could benefit your life.  If at the end you don’t feel it is for you, that’s fine, it's not for everybody.  But if this does sound like you and you do want to pursue this path to a better you, then your next action could just change your life.

The Reason We Need To Do Something

There are multiple reasons men experience midlife crises and feel compelled to do something that proves we aren’t done yet.

  • We settled for routine and are sleeping through our lives

  • We start thinking about death, and feel like time is passing us by

  • We are embarressed by their lack of achievement and prowess across the expectations of a man

  • We miss the experience newness, excitement or learning new skills

  • We envy others that have had the opportunity tot excel

The Birth of The Armored 8

I developed the Armored 8 as a roadmap for my own personal journey to accelerate and enhance/optimize my life.  I was determined not to let me best days behind me, so I created my own plan, specific to me, my wants, my goals, my fears.  However, during the process, I realized two things

  1. My problem and this solution is relevant and universal to all men in this stage of life and I should share it

  2. It would be better if I could find some like-minded folks to take the journey with, to help spark inspiration for ideas, to provide motivaition and accountability and share in our success

So I took my idea and put it down on paper with a mission

The Mission

To help other middle-aged, undelivered men live a life a memorable, enviable life of no regrets

By Providing

  • A roadmap to holistic achievement across the spectrum of human capabilities by requiring them to complete

  • A set of hard, but accessible self-defined challenges to optimize a set of life skills and develop expertise every man should possess

  • That once complete will generate a lifetime of experiences, achievements and emotions

My goal is to help inspire other men to pursue the same journey, but does it make sense for you?

The Ideal Candidate

I see myself as the ideal candidate, and the statements below fit my profile.  Therefore, if these sound like you, then maybe The Armored 8 is a good fit for you as well.

  • A middle-aged man, who is contemplating mortality (maybe motivated by a health scare or two)

  • Accomplished in family and career, but not optimized, have not realized some of my dreams from when I was younger

  • Looking for a constructive way to combat this midlife crisis or doldrums of life

  • Wants optimize my life across all aspects of what should define a man

  • Believe in the philosophy of a renaissance man that seeks mastery across the mental, physical, aritistic and philosophical spheres

  • Want my family to be proud of me and my friends/acquintances to be enviable

  • Feel like I have something left to accomplish (that one big thing), you still have some chips on the table

  • If I died tomorrow, I would have regrest of what I have not done

The Action

If some of this has resonated with you, I hope you will purchase the Treaty of The Armored 8.  It documents my philosophy, thought process and ideas while working through my own journey.  I’m still in the middle of my own journey and I don’t have all the answers, but I believe we have common problem and while there are many paths to the end goal, I believe the roadmap that have I have created is a really good plan.

If after reading it, all you get are a couple of ideas or it sparks some inspiration or motivation, it will be worth small cost.

Or

It may change you life and turn you into someone unrecognizablly better from who you are are today.

I hope you will join me on the journey, and we can build a community of like-minded men that together can help each other spiral up to “BE” the best versions of ourselves and leave nothing left on the table of life.
