A Letter To My Fellow Underlived Men,

As we reach the middle of our lives, we start to take stock of how we’ve lived. My guess is that many of us would say we've done pretty well, but we wish we had experienced more, wish we had accomplished more. There are multiple reasons for this, but there may be a solution to living a life without that regret. Take minute to read through this.  See if it resonates with you and if you think it might be something that would benefit your life. If at the end you don’t feel it's for you, that’s fine, it's not for everybody. However, if this does sound like you and you want to pursue this particular path to a better you, then the action taken at then end of this letter may just change your life.

The Reason We Need To Act

There are multiple reasons men experience midlife crises and feel compelled to do something that proves,
we aren’t done yet:

  • We settled for routine and are sleeping through our lives;

  • We started thinking about death, and worry that time is passing us by;

  • We are embarrassed by our lack of achievement and prowess related to the expectations of a man;

  • We miss the experience of newness, excitement and learning;

  • We envy others that have had the opportunity, courage and discipline to realize their dreams

The Birth of The Armored 8

I developed The Armored 8 as the roadmap for my own personal journey to accelerate and optimize my life. I was determined to not let regret be my legacy, so I created my own plan, specific to me, my wants, my goals, my fears.
However, during the process, I realized two things:

  1. My problem and this solution was universal to and relevant for all men in this stage of life

  2. I needed to find some like-minded folks to take the journey with, to help spark inspiration, to provide accountability and to revel in our success

Therefore, I wanted to share this roadmap and build a community in order to complete this journey, together.

The Mission

My mission is to help other middle-aged, undelivered men live a memorable, enviable life of no regrets

By providing:

  • A roadmap to holistic achievement across the spectrum of human capabilities that requires them to complete;

  • A set of hard, but accessible self-defined challenges;

  • That once complete will generate a lifetime of experiences, achievements and emotions.

While my goal is to help inspire other men to use this roadmap to pursue this same journey, the question is does it make sense for you?

The Ideal Candidate

I see myself as the ideal candidate, and the statements below embody my profile. Therefore, if these sound like or resonate with you, then maybe The Armored 8 is a good fit for you as well.

  • A middle-aged man, who is contemplating his own mortality (maybe motivated by a health scare or two)

  • Accomplished in family and career, but has not realized some of his own dreams

  • Has something left to accomplish, still feels he has some chips left on the table

  • Looking for a "constructive" way to combat this midlife crisis (or just midlife doldrums)

  • Wants to optimize life across all aspects of what should define a man

  • Believes in the philosophy of a renaissance man that seeks mastery across the mental, physical, aritistic and philosophical spheres

  • Wants his family to be proud of him and his friends/acquaintances to be envious

  • If he died tomorrow, he would have regrets of what he has not done

The Action

While I’m still in the middle of my own journey and I don’t have all the answers, I believe we have a common problem and while there are many paths to the end goal, I believe the roadmap that have I have created is a strong solution.   If some of this has resonated with you, I hope you take the next step and download the Treaty of The Armored 8.  It documents the philosophy, thought processes and ideas that I developed while working through my own journey.

If all you get after reading it are a couple of ideas or some sparks of inspiration or motivation, it will be worth the cost. However, there's also the chance that it may change your life and turn you into someone unrecognizably better relative to the man you are today.

I hope you will take the leap and join me on the journey. Together we can build a community of like-minded men that can help each other spiral up to “BE” the best versions of ourselves and leave nothing left on the table of life.

Sincerely,

Your Parnter In Living, The Armored Wolf, Founder of The Armored 8
